Equine Facilitated Learning
We’re now taking bookings for a new short programme in Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) run by our experienced EFL coach, Bryony (B) Thurlow. EFL is an approach to personal growth through calm and positive interactions with horses – including riding and groundwork skills. Benefits of EFL can include improved physical and mental health, emotional resilience and confidence, and a reduction in anxiety and stress.
Our course is aimed at children between age 5 and 13. We welcome any child, but those that would benefit most would be those experiencing SEMH difficulties or trauma and attachment issues. The course will be 8 sessions of 1 hour each running on a Thursday 4pm to 5pm, starting on Thursday 18th April. The cost is £15 per child per session and there will be around 6 children on the course together so your child needs to be comfortable in a small group setting.
